REASON TO KEEP WRITING - ROY SCHEIDER, age 75, an actor trained in the classics but best known for his role as the agonized police chief in the film "Jaws," his role as Joe Gideon in All That Jazz, and as detective Sonny Grosso in The French Connection. Scheider's final role comes as Joseph in the 2009 thriller Iron Cross. When Scheider died in February 2008, he had two movies upcoming: Dark Honeymoon, which had been completed, and British thriller Iron Cross, released in 2009.
